ADN Nursing Program Alignment

Kansas PN Core Curriculum

An update to the Practical Nurse Alignment has been agreed to by the Kansas State Board of Nursing (September 2023) and the Kansas State Board of Regents (November 2023).  The current alignment has been made non-mandatory.  PN programs will remain aligned on the two required prerequisite courses and the PN Program Outcomes.  Requiring a CNA license for admission to the program has also been made optional for the program.  An updated document link will be provided in the near future.
