Renewal Application
For those applying to keep their active statusNOTICE
Due to changes made for the NLC, APRNs with Kansas RN licenses must fill out a renewal application for both licenses. Confirm that your cart has all of the licenses that you need to renew when checking out. If it doesn’t, go back to the “License Home Page”, select “Renew License”, and complete the application for your other license/s.
After submitting your application, in order to prevent accidental duplication, please allow 7-10 business days to pass before logging in to check the status. Checking your application status can be done by logging into your portal page and clicking “View Checklist” above your pending application.
To assist our staff to process your applications as efficiently as possible, please check out our frequently asked questions and NLC information on our website if you have questions regarding compact licensure.
Please Note: The Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN) is not authorized to issue refunds for any applications submitted under the provisions of K.S.A. 74-1108, as outlined in the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. You may review the statute at the following link: Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
We strongly encourage you to carefully review and confirm your application selections before submitting payment. If you have added multiple applications to your cart in error, you may remove any unnecessary items prior to completing your transaction.
